Digital Treasury Revolution: BofA’s CashPro App Facilitates Over €100 Billion in Corporate Payments Across Europe Amid AI Expansion

The latest metrics demonstrate that mobile treasury tools have officially transitioned into mainstream corporate workflows. According to Bank of America, 74% of CashPro users in Europe now actively choose the integrated CashPro mobile token over traditional physical hardware tokens. This transition leverages advanced biometric authentication, QR Sign-In, and secure push notifications to fulfill time-sensitive operations safely from anywhere. Matthew Davies, head of Global Payments Solutions EMEA at Bank of America, stated that mobile devices have become an integral part of daily operations, offering flexibility without compromising security.
This growth vector runs parallel with Bank of America’s ongoing deployment of artificial intelligence and data intelligence models within the ecosystem. The AI-powered virtual assistant built on BofA’s proprietary Erica technology now efficiently automates and processes nearly half of all client interactions, transaction tracking, and customer service requests. Additionally, the platform utilizes advanced machine learning tools to deliver accurate global cash position forecasts within minutes, alongside algorithmic solutions that analyze complex market variables to optimize decision-making for debt issuers prior to launching investment-grade offerings.
The unified CashPro architecture currently empowers more than 35,000 corporate clients and institutions globally to manage liquidity, investments, commercial credit, and foreign exchange. Guided by continuous client feedback gathered through specialized client advisory groups known as CashPro Boards, the platform has maintained undisputed industry leadership. Notably, the CashPro App has secured the No. 1 ranking for mobile corporate banking applications for four consecutive years by Coalition Greenwich, alongside sweeping top positions for overall digital channels and online portal benchmarks.
