Orientino Duo to Perform with Bibliotheca Alexandrina Youth Orchestra on October 24

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt – As part of their 2026 Egypt tour, the Orientino Duo will perform alongside the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Youth Orchestra in the Great Hall on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Presented and coordinated by Red Amber, the concert marks the duo’s third visit to Egypt following recent performances in Cairo.

The ensemble—featuring Chilean-Swedish pianist and composer Tania Naranjo and Syrian-Swedish darbuka player and composer Bader Debs—blends Middle Eastern and Latin American musical traditions through piano, percussion, voice, and improvisation. Under the baton of Maestro Shady Abdelsalam, the concert’s second half will feature the youth orchestra performing orchestral arrangements by Mohamed Sharara and Tania Naranjo. Tickets are priced at EGP 150.
